Herman Miller just launched a new site called POV celebrating five California architects' perspective on design in a series directed by Hello.
Each interview explores core design elements behind each architect's work including celebrated buildings like the Marmol Radziner Desert Prefab house and the Cigolle x Coleman TR+2 StudioHouse. The architects behind these homes talk us through their approach, materials, and the exploration of the relationship between a site and home.
Herman Miller POV Highlights
Exclusive video interviews: Herman Miller partnered with digital agency Hello Design to design the site and direct the interviews. POV gives special access to the thought and design process that went behind creating these amazing homes. Architects include Leo Marmol and Ron Radziner (Marmol Radziner), Kim Coleman (Cigolle X Coleman), James Meyer (LeanArch), Jim Jennings (Jennings Architecture), and John Friedman (JFAK Architects).
Beautiful photography: POV showcases a photo gallery of each home giving an exclusive look at the architecture and landscape. Furthermore, additional projects from each architect are profiled displaying the range of their work.
Inspired Spaces: POV is meant to be a source of inspiration and a celebration of great design. We enlisted photographer Juergen Nogai (Julius Shulman's former business partner) to capture Herman Miller products in these homes in a section called Inspired Spaces.
Enter to Win: Users can enter to win Julius Shulman: Modernism Rediscovered, a collection of forgotten architectural masterpieces from Shulman's personal archives.
