New York School of Interior Design and the Museum of the City of New York are co-presenting a panel discussion on Saturday, April 28th about the latest trends in interior design in New York City and the young, up-and-coming designers that are making it happen.
What are young New York interior designers doing to make their mark? How is the field evolving-stylistically, professionally and economically? This program will introduce six designers/teams from a new generation that is re-thinking the spaces in which we live, shop, work and entertain.
Presenters will include:
Yiannos Vrousgros and Brooke Lichtenstein of Input Studio
Marie Aiello and Lawrence A. Levy, Marie Aiello Design Studio
Stefan Steil of MR Architecture + Decor
Julie Torres Moscovitz of Fabrica 718
Britton Smith, formerly of Albert Hadley Inc.
Fitzhugh Karol and Lyndsay Caleo of The Brooklyn Home Company
The program will also include a tour of the new South Street Seaport Museum's galleries led by a principal of Cooper Joseph Studio, architects of the renovation.
