Andreu World Unveils the 2012 International Design Contest Winner

Andreu World unveiled the winner of the 2012 International Design Contest in a ceremony hosted by the Feria Habitat Valencia. 23 year-old student Laurent Divorne was awarded was awarded the first prize for his backless chair design "Wooden Horse."

With space constraints becoming an increasingly formidable challenge in many parts of the world, the Andreu World panel found Divorne's design visually elegant and versatile, as the chair is stackable and easy to store.

"I wanted to reinterpret an archetype of wood furniture which we all sat on when we were young: the wooden horse," commented Divorne. "Andreu World is a company with values that fit me, like ecology, respect for the environment, sustainable industrial activities, and a line of sleek and clear design."
