Liqui Creates Eye-catching Installations for Havwoods at Clerkenwell Design Week

To celebrate Clerkenwell Design Week, Havwoods commissioned Liqui Group to create several eye-catching installations for their flagship Clerkenwell London showroom. These displays showcase a variety of pieces from Havwoods stunning new cork wall coverings collection.

The main display sees Liqui create a statement window structure which draws visitors to the showroom while still allowing them glimpses of further displays within. Liqui's design team took simple flat Cork wall tiles and gave them a three-dimensional twist by creating a hanging structure that takes the form of asymmetrical drapes or curtains. The interwoven geometric pattern of the triangular cut tiles is held together by bespoke brackets specially made by Liqui Group.

Elsewhere in the showroom visitors will find a three-dimensional cork wall made up of different sized faceted wall tiles that stand out from the surface. These are in two contrasting shades that fade from dark to light and take their inspiration from pixel art.

The structural pillars within the showroom have been covered in the new bark-like Cork cladding called 'Node' which gives them the appearance of tree trunks. This has also been used on the front of a counter that will act as a bar for events during Clerkenwell Design Week.
