Fuseproject Honored with Biggest International Design Award

Design CAN change the world.

The Index: Award 2007 recognizes just so, including the work of industrial design and branding consultancy fuseproject, which received one of the top coveted awards today, each receiving €100,000.

Winning the top award in the "community" category is fuseproject's design of the new One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) XO computer.

One hundred percent of the Index: Award 2007 for the OLPC will benefit the nonprofit organization OLPC.

The prestigious Index:Award, juried by an esteemed panel of design visionaries, boasts the world's "biggest design award" in financial terms, and is presented in Copenhagen under the patronage of HRH The Crown Prince of Denmark.

The award program is organized by Index, a nonprofit organization based in Copenhagen, which focuses on "Design to Improve Life" worldwide.
