Gusto Design Ltd Creates Inclusive Design for Boots New Premium Vitamins Bottle Range

UK product design studio, Gusto Design Ltd, have created new structural packaging for Boots' own brand range of premium vitamins which has been rolled out into stores nationally.

The brief was focused on an inclusive design approach to create an easy to open pack which would appeal to a broad range of consumers (including those with limited grip strength) and would create a point of difference for Boots' own premium quality vitamins which are developed and produced in house.

The final chosen concept is centred around a domed, textured cap which fits into the palm of the hand for extra grip and leverage on opening.

A secondary colour coded labelling area was included on the cap to allow consumers to quickly identify the vitamin type they required in store amongst the vast array of products on offer.

Silver was specified for the main packaging colour to emphasise the premium quality of the offering.
