The London Festival of Architecture 2008

The London Festival of Architecture 2008

The London Festival of Architecture 2008 will run from 20 June to 20 July and includes street installations, exhibitions, guided walks, cycle rides, boat tours of the city's river and canals, parties, design workshops and debates in five hub areas across the city.

While the Southwark & South Bank hub, curated by The Architecture Foundation, is not until July, many of the headline installations will be on view in June.

The build for the temporary Southwark Lido, ahead of its public opening from the 9 July, is integral to the project as the EXYZT architecture collective goes on site and invities residents and local organisations to help with the build and watch the construction of an exciting addition to the local area.

Visitors to Southwark will also be able to view a striking installation in Hopton Street by graphic artist Scott King, and should be booking their tickets for the Urban Street Hunt, on sale now.
