Inscape's Planna casegood system and Fronte movable storefront wall system have been honored with 2008 Good Design awards.
Planna is a storage-based casegood system that incorporates floating worksurfaces to produce long, low, intersecting lines evoking the sleek horizontal architectural styling of Tadao Ando.
It is a durable alternative for the mid-market category and can be used in private office and open plan benching applications.
Planna is easily reconfigurable and can be integrated with any other furniture system, providing infinite planning options.
Fronte is a high-functionality movable storefront wall system.
Measuring just 21⁄4 in. thin and available in expanses of up to 72 in. wide, the elegant glazed facade gives a distinct, contemporary look to any design-sensitive interior application.
Unlike wall systems requiring tedious disassembly, Fronte is a unitized wall assembly that allows easy mobility using a small kit of parts.
"To be recognized with two Good Design awards caps a year when three of our new product introductions have been honored with multiple design awards.
We are deeply gratified that Planna, Fronte, as well as Scala have been so well received by the architectural and design community," says Peter Brunelle, president and CEO.
