Pully Chau, CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi's Guangzhou and Shanghai offices in China, has been invited to speak at the Boao Forum for Asia Conference 2009, which will take place from 17-19 April in Haikou, China.
The central theme this year is "Asia: Managing Beyond Crisis."
Ms Chau will speak at the Young Leaders' Roundtable to share her wisdom on "Leadership in a time of Crisis", along with other top leaders from the region.
The co-chairmen of the session will be Robin Li, CEO of Baidu, and Tony Burke, Australia's Minister of Agriculture.
Boao has been a highlight of the Asian calendar every year since its inauguration in 2001.
It attracts over 300 of the region's top people, representing a range of businesses and communities - government, financial, natural resources, trade & commerce, educational - who get together to exchange opinions and inspire each other.
Chinese premier Wen Jiabao will give the Keynote address.
"I'm delighted to be invited to this important function," said Ms Chau.
"To me, it is recognition of the Saatchi & Saatchi belief - how building Lovemarks is effectively linked to boosting economic growth & domestic consumption in China.
There will be a large representation from the ranks of Chinese entreprenurs and digital leaders, so I forsee a lot of energy and innovative thinking during our discussions.
China is definitely on the right track of growth."
