To help promote their National Patients Survey SLaM asked 400 to design a newsletter which would be distributed through hospitals and sent to former patients.
As each borough they operate in required an individual newsletter, 400 developed a grid that would maintain consistency across all four versions but allowed flexibility for the easy insertion of localised content.
This layout, combined with an eye-catching graphic style, bold typography and bright imagery attracts attention and creates an informal feel that appeals to a wide audience, increasing general awareness of the Trust and showing it in a positive light.
Not wanting to compromise production quality within the tight budget, the document was structured so that the borough-specific pages could be produced in one run, while the A5 format also provided savings in distribution costs.
