Zephyr, a leading designer and manufacturer of design-centric kitchen ventilation hoods, has received three highly acclaimed design awards for its new Arc Collection designed by Robert Brunner. The Arc Collection is a line of high-performance, elegantly minimalist range hoods that deliver the latest in compact power.
The Plane kitchen ventilation hood, which creates an angular sculpture that dramatically grows from the wall, received the renowned Good Design Award presented by the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design. The Museum recognizes the most innovative and cutting-edge industrial, product, and graphic designs produced around the world.
The Award for Design Excellence (ADEX) was presented to Layers, a low profile ventilation hood with a floating design that highlights its use of glass by presenting a very thin profile within the kitchen. The ADEX is the largest awards program for product design marketed to the design trade and is sponsored by Design Journal, the international trade publication for interior designers and architects.
Judged for its superior aesthetics, human factors, innovation and technical merits, the Horizon ventilation hood was recognized with a Silver EID Award in Appliance Magazine's 22nd annual Excellence in Design competition in the appliance category. Entrants were evaluated by an independent panel of three experts in the field of design and the Horizon was honored for its creativity and technically savvy product design in today's global appliance industry.
