frog design today announced it has opened a new studio in Munich and will move its German operations from its previous location near Stuttgart.
The studio will be headed by newly appointed General Manager Birgit Baier.
"Munich's strong entrepreneurial culture and diverse creative community make it an ideal place for frog," said Doreen Lorenzo, president of frog design.
"As one of the world's most important centers for business and innovation, Munich is a powerful hub to foster our presence in the German market and further extend our reach in Europe."
Despite the global economic crisis, frog has experienced significant worldwide growth and sees Europe as a key market for expansion.
With additional European studios in Amsterdam and Milan, frog works with major clients including BBC, Conde Nast, GE, HP, among others.
"frog has a strong legacy in Germany, and Munich represents an exciting new chapter for our growth in the market," said Birgit Baier, general manager of frog design in Munich.
"The move gives us the opportunity to be closer to some of the world's greatest companies, serve our local clients more effectively, and attract outstanding talent."
