Porsche Design announced its third fashion collection for fall/winter 2010/2011. The products are particularly characterised by high quality fabrics and outstanding craftsmanship according to manufacturing principles. The most exclusive item of this collection is a leather jacket made of hand-woven nappa lambskin, which is limited to 200 pieces worldwide. The new products will be available from Porsche Design stores and franchise stores worldwide from August 2010.
Once again, Porsche Design focuses the fashion collection, which is entirely designed at the Porsche Design Studio in Zell am See, Austria, on leather jackets. Each and every product is a reflection of an individual personality. The limited edition TecFlex leather jacket, made of hand-woven nappa lambskin, looks truly exceptional. The technically inspired appearance is completed by covered zipped pockets and loops for headphone cables.
Additionally to the limited edition blouson, another highlight of the collection is the duvet jacket made of soft kidskin suede leather. Like all pieces of the collection, it is characterised by high quality working up and intelligent tailoring which is also reflected by a unique fit. Clear, masculine lines as well as the classic and sporty design make the fashion collection unmistakeable at the first glance. Intelligent details such as a cross-stitched hanging loop of strong leather make every piece of the collection a success.
"The brand new fashion collection is pure Porsche Design. It creates an uncompromising link between functionality and aesthetics and fits seamlessly into our product portfolio," said Dr. Juergen Gessler, CEO of Porsche Design Group. "The success concept remains unchanged: we don't follow trends, we set our own accents. The result is that our light casual chic makes our fashion collection unique."
The men's collection is rounded off with fashion classics that complement the leather jacket range. A real eye-catcher is the Yoko Ono t-shirt, which is available in black and white. As the successor to the successful t-shirt No. 1, that showed the Porsche Design exclusive sunglasses from 1978, the new model, using a high quality printing process, depicts another classic: the legendary shield sunglasses for a sporty 80's look, which was made famous by Yoko Ono and is now available again under the name of P'8479.
