New Practices New York 2010

New Practices New York 2010

New Practices New York 2010 is the third biennial juried competition and exhibition sponsored by the New Practices Committee of the AIA New York Chapter.

It serves as a platform to recognize and promote new, innovative and emerging architecture firms within New York City that have utilized unique and commendable strategies - both in the projects they undertake and the practices they have established.

Distinguishing this award from others given to new and young practices is the attention focused on how the winning firms' practices have been uniquely shaped to better facilitate and exploit the type of projects that are undertaken.

For the first time in the competition's history, the qualification for entry has been expanded to include firms without a registered architect.
