Mothership has named Dominic Bernacchi executive producer, marketing and sales. A seasoned creative executive, producer and talent manager, Bernacchi will foster relationships with Mothership's advertising and entertainment clientele and help to nurture and build Mothership's director roster.
"Not only is Dominic connected within the advertising community, he's highly regarded by directors," said Ed Ulbrich, Mothership President. "His capabilities run deep. In his previous production company posts, he's been integral in helping develop and guide the careers of very successful commercial directors, some of whom have moved into film. He has a strong reputation as an agency resource - someone with impeccable taste, who consistently brings great talent to their projects."
Bernacchi joins Mothership from Radical Media, where he spent five years representing directors Chris Milk, Tarsem, Steve Miller, Dave Meyers and many others. Prior to that, as West Coast Sales Agent for Partizan he connected agencies with directors such as Michel Gondry, Traktor, Jim Hosking and more. Before becoming an artist rep, Benacchi was a music supervisor at Ten Music, where he managed a variety of record labels, placing indie tracks in television commercials. He started his career as a producer at San Francisco advertising agency Goldberg Moser O'Neill (now Hill Holliday), working with brands such as Dell Computers, Red Roof Inns and others.
"What drew me to Mothership was its formidable production model," said Bernacchi. "The directors, creative execs and producers here are fluent in all languages of production - digital, live action and design. With Mothership's creative capabilities, top-level talent, and the infrastructure of Digital Domain, a powerhouse in digital production and visual effects, Mothership is uniquely positioned in the evolving world of advertising and entertainment. We're offering agencies and brands so much more here. It's really an exciting company to be a part of."
