FITCH announced the opening of its first office in China. The 12th office in its international network, the new office in Beijing embeds the design consultancy's position as the leading global branding network specialising in retail design.
The China office will service existing clients such as Nokia and Dell, as well as new clients in the buoyant Chinese market.
"With the rapid growth of China, FITCH has been considering ways to better service and partner with our clients in this territory," said Lois Jacobs, CEO for FITCH.
"While FITCH has been working with international and local clients such as Dell and Sundan in China for some time now, it makes sense to be closer to the market with a dedicated team on the ground.
Chinese retail is very exciting right now and is changing very quickly. Our local presence will enable us to respond more swiftly to local market demand and to provide better insight into Chinese consumer preferences."
