Following the recent launch of its audio post division Sounds Like Click, Click 3X introduced its full-service creative editorial with the addition of industry veteran Ed Einhorn. This latest talent will join recent hire and fellow creative editor Jeremy Bauman, sealing the studio's capabilities throughout the postproduction process, from design/VFX to online and offline editorial to audio post to finishing/smoke.
Einhorn is an experienced TV, screen and online creative editor with an affinity for storytelling, developing ideas and sound design. Versed in multiple HD formats, including RED, Phantom, P2 and XDCAM workflows, Einhorn carries a strong sensibility and understanding of motion graphics, 3D, color-correction and compositing. He is accomplished in both Final Cut Pro and Avid non-linear edit systems and the Adobe Creative Suite.
"I've known Ed for a number of years. We've sort of come up in the business together," noted Click 3X Managing Director Jason Mayo. "We've been looking for ways to collaborate but the timing never seemed to be right. Over the last year or two, our clients have been inquiring more and more about our ability to bring A-level creative editorial to the table and we felt the time was right to build an offering that fits within the creative culture of Click 3X. Ed is a seasoned editor with a solid stable of work under his belt. He's a true storyteller that is able to see things that most editors aren't able to. Pairing him with Jeremy Bauman gives us a unique and formidable duo that I'm excited to bring to our clients."
"One of the things I love about Click 3X, and a reason I think we've been so successful selling into the current creative environment, is that we respond to our clients needs quickly," stated Click 3X Head of Sales Trevor King. "Creative editorial is our newest full service offering at Click 3X, and by adding Ed Einhorn to our roster, with Jeremy Baumann, we have a really great team. Ed brings his high level of experience and an innate ability to really 'own the room', a quality that I think is so important in managing a job and keeping the creative moving in a positive direction. I'm thrilled about our creative editorial team and look forward to getting these guys in front of everyone I know."
With a love of meeting new clients and engaging in the challenge of helping them tell their story, Einhorn has accumulated an impressive client list that includes Puma, American Express, Navistar, Adidas, Comcast, and many others. Einhorn developed daily promos for the Traverse City Film Festival, which is run and supported by Michael Moore. He also recently cut a theatrical trailer for Don't Stop Believin': Everyman's Journey, a documentary about Arnel Pineda's rise to fame as the new lead singer of the band Journey. He has collaborated with top agencies Droga5, MediaCom, Y&R, Saatchi & Saatchi, BBDO, Momentum, McCann Worldwide, and Virtue Worldwide. Outside of the advertising realm, Einhorn has also worked on music videos, theatrical trailers, short films, concept pitches, and the TV show Speed Science for the Science Channel. Prior to joining Click 3X, Einhorn spent time at Red Car and Crew Cuts.
"I've known about Click 3X's incredible reputation in the VFX realm for years, and so when I had a chance to join not only my old friends and colleagues Jeremy Bauman and Jason Mayo, but to develop a creative editorial side to a one-stop post house with an outstanding sales force, it was a no-brainer," said Einhorn. "There's an opportunity for exponential personal and institutional growth here. My greatest hope is to help build a successful creative editorial division that enables our clients to push the boundaries of any medium, whether it be TV, web, film, iPad or smartphone. The industry has been changing dynamically as a result of these new options, and I need to be with a company that has their hand on the pulse of what's possible."
