Hook announced today that it has enlisted former Executive Integrated Producer Dave Evans to lead company strategy and development.
Evans, whose accomplishments include producing award-winning campaigns such as Toyota's Swagger Wagon & Coke Zero's Rooftop Racer, joins the team after a two-year stint as Executive Integrated Producer at Saatchi & Saatchi LA. At Saatchi Evans helped redefine the agency's integrated strategy and capabilities - the results of which served to earn the agency's first integrated and social awards.
Previously, Evans worked for various other industry-leading agencies, most notably at Crispin, Porter + Bogusky as a Senior Integrated Producer for Burger King, Coke Zero and Zune while co-leading Microsoft.
Evans' entry into Hook marks the beginning of an expansion campaign for the five year-old, thirteen-person development company. As a partner, his agency-side insight will be leveraged to further align the small shop's capabilities and service offerings with client side needs.
"Dave's awareness within the interactive industry is unmatched - beyond the doors that he'll open for us, his experience with both execution and strategy will be relied on heavily as Hook continues to grow into a key source of interactive production," commented Co-Founding partner, Aaron Schwartz. The company is currently on track to double in size during the next 18 months.
"My agency focus has helped me define stronger strategies and gather some great resources for growing large integrated creative environments," said Evans. "At Hook, I see an opportunity to combine my experience with their existing capabilities and culture. The instincts they have for developing playful brand engagements are already known and massively respected - with my client side perspective, we plan to significantly expand Hook's reach."
