Design at Work exhibition will showcase the work of professional graphic designers based in Western Ontario.
Organized by the Association of Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario, Design at Work is an annual, juried competition that honours exemplary design projects created in the last two years. The selected projects demonstrate how graphic design can create value for business.
Design at Work: Western Ontario is a special local edition, featuring the work of designers residing within a 50-kilometre radius of the Airport, and as far west as London.
"In this exhibit you will see many great examples of the power of design and the marvelous results that can be achieved when a designer and client work together... professional designers, and more specifically, Registered Graphic Designers, can help any client produce memorable, stunning and timeless communications," commented Roger Martin, Dean, Rotman School of Management.
The exhibit features work created by R.G.D. designers from creative studios such as Hagon Design, Mondor Design Associates and Honey Design and from in-house design departments at The University of Western Ontario and YMCA of Kitchener-Waterloo.
Projects on display range from an annual report developed for the Waterloo-based Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan to the rebranding of Kitchener construction company Eckologic Builders.
