The Audio Branding Academy has announced the six finalists chosen by the Award Jury to present their cases for the Audio Branding Award 2011. The Congress is slated to take place at Columbia University on November 17, 2011. Themed "Stay Connected, Sound Global," this year's focus will be on innovation in mobile media and content.
Following the announcement of the first Audio Branding Award to be presented this year, the Award Jury members carefully selected six contenders to present their cases at the Congress. Selected by the Audio Branding Academy, the independent award jury includes experts from media, advertising, marketing and music.
Among the nominated cases is German direct bank ING-DiBa, which features basketball star Dirk Nowitzki as brand ambassador in their advertising campaign, in which the key theme from Bert Kaempfert's 'Strangers In The Night' became the famous catchy tune.
Also being presented is a case study on UBS, one of the largest international, financial companies. They conducted a worldwide competitive review and benchmark analysis to develop a multiple-channel strategy covering all internal and external touch points.
Another presentation will be based on a destination brand project. To develop the current tourist image and future direction of the destination brand of Vienna, over 10,000 people from target markets and 550 experts were interviewed in the branding process.
