Material ConneXion is calling entries for its 2012 Medium Awards. The Medium Award for Material of the Year recognizes new entries juried into the Material ConneXion library within the past year that demonstrate outstanding technological innovation and the potential to make a significant contribution to the advancement of design, industry, society and the economy.
This year Material ConneXion launches a new award in addition to the annual Medium Award - the Matter Award for Product of the Year. This award will be given to a new product launched in 2011 that best demonstrates innovation, smart materials use from a sustainable perspective and which enhances the consumer experience.
