Eddie Kirschenbaum Joins Carbon Design Group

Carbon Design Group has signed Eddie Kirschenbaum as the new Vice President of Business Development for the world-recognized, product development consultancy.

"Eddie's approach exemplifies the way we do business at Carbon," said Dan Blase, Carbon Design Group President. "His prioritization of client needs combines with his ability to truly understand prospective customers to make him a great fit for our team."

Kirschenbaum joins Carbon after five years running the Sales and Marketing division at Brewer Cantelmo in New York City. He grew the custom leather house by broadening their product line from portfolio books into premium leather menu covers and expanding their international business into the United Kingdom and Japan. Kirschenbaum also created a wholesale line for the company and introduced this venture domestically.

More recently, Kirschenbaum served as the Executive Director for the South Lake Union Chamber of Commerce in Seattle. In this position, he quickly reenergized the Board of Directors, facilitated an production of an enhanced local map and local trade show, and generated a significant increase in membership.

"I was initially attracted to Carbon because of their nearly 20 year history as a trusted consultant to a top tier client list," explained Kirschenbaum. "My deep love of design and our close alignment on values and culture were the factors that ultimately led me to join Carbon." Kirschenbaum will head up the firm's strategic growth plan which includes expansion of the existing San Francisco client base.
