designLSM has created a new interior for Quilon Restaurant which captures its cultural origins and positioning as one of the leading Michelin starred restaurants in London. The new contemporary restaurant boasts a brand new Q Bar plus a sumptuous private room.

The private room, which accommodates up to 16 seated and 35 standing offers an intimate dining experience. Striking design features include features a bespoke wenge candle wall - inspired by a Hindu temple in Kerala, an imported 8ft Indian fishing boat which has been transformed into a glass topped bar and a floor to ceiling "wine wall."
Low ceiling height was overcome by applying curved wooden slats to create soft wave-like-contours. Within the main restaurant jali screens can be used to provide additional intimacy. Wall recesses feature softly lit, individual hand-printed ceramic discs which hang in a fish scale pattern.
