Shilo Signs Award-Winning Director Luc Janin for US Spot and Music Video Representation

Shilo signed director Luc "Reso" Janin to its roster for commercial and music video representation in the US.

"Luc is very well known for choosing the best techniques to tell powerful stories dramatically and effectively," commented Jose Gomez, Shilo's owner and director.

"For any project, he has a very deep artistic palette to draw from. Whether the story will benefit the most from masterful cinematography, graphics, animation, graffiti, projection mapping, or some unique combination, he constantly experiments and grows, and always brings fresh ideas and tremendous enthusiasm."

After starting out as a graffiti artist on the streets of his native Paris, Luc's talents soon began attracting paying jobs, which allowed him to study graphic design at the prestigious French art schools Olivier de Serre and ESAG.

Luc moved to London in 2000, where he began experimenting with motion graphics. By 2004, he was living between London and Los Angeles, and his career directing high-profile music videos and commercials was well underway.

Since gaining representation by award-winning London-based production company Annex Films, Luc has established himself internationally as both a premier director and a phenomenal artist-illustrator, with each facet of his art strongly influencing the others.

To date, Luc has directed breakthrough commercials with leading creatives for BBC, Converse, Channel 4, Lotus, MTV, Nescafe, Nickelodeon, Nike, Pepsi, Samsung, Snickers, Toyota, Xbox, and many more, and music videos for James Blunt, Stereophonics and others.
