Autodesk has today released its conceptual simulation app ForceEffect to Android. First launched to iOS devices in November 2011, ForceEffect has been adopted by professionals, students and "for fun" engineers, offering validation of design ideas at the very earliest stages.
Essentially, ForceEffect easily replaces the slide ruler, protractor and manual calculations that engineers have relied upon for years-it represents the next evolution of engineering technology. To date, the app has been downloaded over 100,000 times.
