Luceplan launched Curl table lamp at the 23rd International Biennale, Interieur 2012. Designed by Sebastian Bergne, the lamp uses the very latest in 'tuneable white' LED technology.

As light source technologies develop, becoming smaller and more controllable with less impact on the design of lighting fixtures, there is more creative freedom but also a greater need to rethink the objects that illuminate our homes.

Curl was designed with the intension of joining the light source and reflector with one simple gesture. The result is an object with a natural sculptural presence, it has no apparent base so can stand in different orientations and in doing so goes some way in redefining what we think of as a table lamp.
