Carbon Design Group has named award-winning industrial designer Peter Bristol as Creative Director of the world-recognized product design and development consultancy.
"This role is well-earned," said Willy Stiggelbout, Carbon Founder and Principal. "Peter's talent as a designer is surpassed only by his quality as a person. Peter will have a louder voice as he sprinkles his magic on both Client and Carbon projects." As Creative Director, Bristol's responsibilities expand to include creative direction across all projects and collaboratively growing Carbon's team.
Since earning a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from Western Washington University, Bristol has worked to create, evolve, and refine ideas that should exist and to bring them to life in the right way. Designing products at the architectural level often makes his work inherently recognizable. He has won 16 major design awards since joining Carbon.
Peter has also received world-wide recognition for his personal projects in the realm of furniture and lighting. His unique perspective gives his otherwise reduced work a sense of wonder and play.
