M2L has recently received a 2012 Good Design Award for its M2L Catalogs. With art direction and graphic design provided by Giona Maiarelli and Louise Lassen of the graphic design and communication firm Maiarelli Studio, the M2L Catalogs were recognized for their excellence in the Graphics, Identity and Packaging category.
The M2L Catalogs were conceived as an ongoing series to showcase M2L's fresh, modern design solutions. The clean, sophisticated design reflects the elegance of the furniture it presents, and ties in perfectly with M2L's mantra: fresh, iconic, and modern. Each issue features a different, subtle pearlized color for the cover, neatly embellished with the M2L logotype in the bottom corner: a blind emboss with tone on tone varnish. The catalogs are designed to be collected and timeless, much like the furniture they feature on the pages within.
