Poetica has signed Director Douglas Purver to its roster. A visionary storyteller, Purver joins Poetica's talented roster of artists specializing in award-winning live-action and post-production for commercials, music videos, and web content.
Purver possesses the distinct ability to use VFX to drive a powerful narrative, creating and implementing a lush and textural signature style that defines his work.
However, while Douglas' keen and inventive eye for visual effects is an ingrained feature of his output, he has also written and directed a live-action short, "Omar & His Skyhook" - a vivid and striking film which traveled the world on the festival circuit and earned him a spot in SHOOT Magazine's New Directors Showcase.
