The American Society of Interior Designers Foundation (ASID Foundation) is calling for interior design students and professionals to apply for five awards and scholarships totaling $23,000.
Open to both ASID members and nonmembers, the awards and scholarships range from monetary awards for contributions to the profession, to scholarships for all levels of students.
"This award has not only helped me complete my master's of interior architecture studies, but it has validated my work and study of traditional and classical interior design and furniture," stated Philip Gill, Allied ASID, the winner of the last year's inaugural David Barrett Memorial Scholarship. "It has helped elevate my level of expertise in my field and allowed me to pursue my passion in this design specialty."
Awards and scholarships programs, which have no application fee, have been a part of the ASID Foundation since its founding in 1975.
The deadline for applications is April 15, 2013.
