The September will see the eleventh year of the London Design Festival, one of the most important events on the global design calendar.
The Festival will again present a program that celebrates and challenges design, from large-scale landmark initiatives to an array of satellite destinations, districts and hotspots covering the breadth of London.
"It is a strength that design can interest a public as well as a professional audience," said Ben Evans, London Design Festival Director.
"The London Design Festival is designed to do just that, with trade fairs alongside public installations. Design is for everyone."
The Festival will continue its unique collaboration with the world's leading Museum of art and design, the V&A, which in 2012, saw audiences reach 111,538 for the ten day period of the festival, which was one of the busiest weeks recorded in the Museum's history.
As the central hub location for the London Design Festival for the fifth year, it will again house a broad range of commissioned activity which will be spread throughout the Museum and include installations, events, talks and workshops.
The Festival will also, for the second year, present the Global Design Forum, a one day event which will set the global agenda on design.
