The 43rd Annual Los Angeles Architectural Awards will honor renowned architect Ray Kappe, co-founder of SCI-Arc, along with nearly three dozen winning entries that exhibit the best of architectural design in the Los Angeles region, with a focus on sustainability and community impact.
This event will also announce the winning team of the 2013 Julius Shulman Emerging Talent Award.
The top seven architecture schools in Los Angeles each selected student teams to participate in a civic-themed, three-day design competition to develop plans for a Continuing Care Retirement Community on the MLK Medical Center Campus in South Los Angeles.
