The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies revealed the winners of the 2013 Green Good Design Awards - a special edition of the Good Design Awards program.
100 product design, graphics, architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning projects, together with visionary leaders, foundations, and government, were awarded Green Good Design Awards from 18 nations.
Under the banner, "Build A Better World Now," designs for buildings and products that emphasize the most advanced "Green Approach" and the most sophisticated methods and technology to make the most positive impact on the environment were cited and awarded.
"This program dramatically indicates that the Green Movement is in full momentum worldwide-from Singapore to Vietnam to New York," stated Christian K. Narkiewicz-Laine, Museum President, The Chicago Athenaeum.
"Architects and designers are quickly developing more and more interesting solutions to meet a more sustainable future."
