The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) has launched the second annual Best Interiors of Latin America & the Caribbean competition.
"Each international competition that IIDA hosts presents another opportunity for us to highlight the dynamic palette of ideas to be found in the design world, and last year's inaugural Best Interiors of Latin America illustrated just how varied the region's ideas could be," commented IIDA Executive Vice President and CEO Cheryl S. Durst, Hon. FIIDA, LEED AP.
"We are excited to extend this year's geographic competitive field to include the nations of the Caribbean, and are equally thrilled to partner with Alessi for the 2013 Best Interiors of Latin America and the Caribbean to revisit the vital design thinking and creative solutions to be found in these countries."
The international competition recognizes and celebrates Interior Design/Architecture projects that reflect the highest level of creativity, originality and design excellence from Latin America and the Caribbean Islands.
Projects must be located in Latin America or the Caribbean, though design firms may be located anywhere. The deadline for entries is September 16, 2013.
