ASID Workplace Design Research Grant - Call for Submissions

ASID Workplace Design Research Grant: Call for Submissions

The American Society of Interior Designers Foundation has announced the third annual interior design research grant program, Transform, to award design-related initiatives that address critical gaps in industry knowledge.

The Workplace Design Research Grant seeks proposals that better support the business case for interior design in workplace settings involving populations of knowledge workers.

Research proposals should demonstrate practical applications for both interior designers and their clients.

The ideal length of a project is one to two years, and the grant can be used as the startup funds of a larger initiative.

The grant program is open to design professionals, clients, scientists and educators, as well as interdisciplinary collaborations.

The Foundation awards up to $105,000 annually to single or multiple studies.

The deadline for applications is September 27, 2013.
