The American Society of Interior Designers has launched a new national program created to help members expand their design knowledge and learn new strategies for their businesses. ASID Accelerate Studio will feature dynamic workshops and demonstrations by leading design professionals.
The sessions in November will address current health-related industry topics, including environmental psychology, community health, well-being, material health and epigenetic design and lighting. Future sessions will focus on helping members grow their businesses, with insights and tools from Steve Nobel of NOBELINKS.
Hosted by Axor Hansgrohe, the first event in New York City on Nov. 13, and the second in Miami on Nov. 18, will examine interior environments that support healthy lifestyles and tools to assist designers in their practice.
"ASID places a premium on providing value to our members, in part, through frequent, innovative training opportunities," said Randy Fiser, ASID executive vice president and CEO. "Accelerate Studio responds to our members' requests as well as to market trends."
