Function, the firm that specializes in mechanical design and engineering for product development, is rolling out a new company identity, designed by Sagmeister & Walsh.
As in the past, a gear is the center of the system, and now it is teamed up with a new Function logotype. The new logotype is made up of linkages, and these linkages are the mechanical bits from which all the elements in the system - gear, patterns, icons - are built.
