SEGD 2014 Global Design Awards

The Society for Experiential Graphic Design has launched its 27th annual SEGD Global Design Awards. The competition recognizes the best in visual communications for the built environment.

Established in 1987, the SEGD program honors design that connects people to place by providing direction, content, and compelling experiences where they work, play, learn, travel, shop, and gather.

"Experiential graphic design can enrich and transform our built world and in the process, make our lives better," commented Alan Jacobson, founder and president of Philadelphia-based experience design and strategy firm ex;it and Chair of the 2014 SEGD Global Design Awards. Past winners have represented a wide range of project types, from complex urban wayfinding systems to museum exhibitions, public art, dynamic media installations, and branded, corporate, and retail environments.

The deadline for entries is January 31, 2014, with a late deadline of February 21, 2014.
