adidas Originals has opened a Stan Smith pop-up shop to celebrate the global return of the accredited World's Bestselling Trainer. The pop-up is situated in a scale replica of an adidas Stan Smith shoebox and offers exclusive and limited edition products as well as interactive experiences in celebration of the iconic shoe.
Paying homage to the classic all white silhouette, the Stan Smith Shoebox hosts a custom installation featuring 120 Stan Smith trainers as well as experiences including an interactive floor, a digital 'Stan Yourself' station and a 3D printing post.
In a sports brand first, an innovative 3D printing station at the shop created trefoil lace locks for guests to take away. Visitors were also given the chance to preview the 'Stan Yourself' app, featuring their portrait and signature in place of the classic Stan Smith image found on the tongue of the shoe. With a function exclusive to the pop-up shop, guests created print outs of their Stan images, adding them to a Stan Smith Wall of Fame.
The Stan Smith pop-up will be open to the public until January 19 at the Old Truman Brewery, E1 6QR, and will be offering 200 pairs of Stan Smith shoes available to buy. Stan Smith shoes purchased at the pop-up store will also come in a limited edition white Stan Smith shoebox lined with artificial grass turf.
