The 21st-Century Practice: Marketing Resiliency Planning and Design

The AIANY Marketing & Communications Committee and the Design for Risk and Reconstruction Committee are holding a discussion, "The 21st-Century Practice: Marketing Resiliency Planning and Design," at the Center for Architecture on March 5.

Resiliency planning and design have quickly become a new initiative for the design professions, requiring new ways of thinking and communicating these ideas and strategies both within the profession and to clients.

Of course, there is a small group of practitioners and firms already leading the way in the development of innovative, interdisciplinary solutions to the full array of challenges presented by climate change, natural and manmade risk mitigation, and disaster preparedness and response.

The event will include a diverse group of speakers with a range of professional experience to discuss best practices, innovations, and opportunities.
