Source Serif - Adobe's New Open Source Typeface

Source Serif: Adobe's New Open Source Typeface

Adobe has released its 100th Typeface family, Source Serif, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Adobe Originals font library. Source Serif is an open-source font available via Adobe Typekit or via SourceForge.

A fresh take on the transitional style, Source Serif was designed as a companion to Source Sans. Their close relationship was achieved through a careful match of letter proportions and typographic color. Designed for a digital environment, the letter shapes for Source Serif are simplified and highly readable.
