Organized by the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) and Parsons The New School for Design, the New York City Fashion Career Week will give New Yorkers of all backgrounds and at all levels of experience access to leading executives and companies in New York City's fashion industry.
The free program will run from July 17-21 and participating companies include Ralph Lauren, Gap, Bonobos, Theory, Saks Fifth Avenue and many more.
"Fashion Career Week joins our robust suite of initiatives to provide knowledge and support to the next generation of fashion design and manufacturing talent," commented NYCEDC President Kyle Kimball.
"This new program will allow New Yorkers, no matter their level of experience, to receive opportunities in the City's fashion sector, working with top industry professionals and learning the tools they need to succeed in this thriving field."
NYC Fashion Career week will provide participants with opportunities to explore fashion and retail companies throughout the City, learn about fashion careers in workshops led by Parsons faculty and industry leaders, prepare for jobs with the advice of fashion professionals via panel discussions and connect with companies and peers at Meet & Greet events.
