The Center for Architecture is hosting 'Women.Wikipedia.Design.,' a Wikipedia editing session organized by ArchiteXX, an organization for women in architecture that seeks to transform the profession by bridging the academy and practice.
The workshop aims to involve as many people as possible to contribute new pages and expand on existing information in Wikipedia about women designers, architects, and all those involved in the creation of the built environment. Architexx is seeking to create a global effort in order to write in the most diverse range of women.
The workshop will start with a presentation about how to write and edit Wikipedia entries and then start writing in good company and with help at hand. Bring your laptop and a bio of someone you would like to write about.
