The 2016 New Material Award is now open for submissions. The competition seeks entries that offer innovative solutions to the issues of today and the challenges of tomorrow.
Each project should integrate new materials, or innovative ways of using materials. The prize awards two accolades: the New Material Award of €15.000 for a final design and the New Material Fellow for a fleshed-out design idea linked to a research question.
The New Material Award is open to artists, designers, fashion designers and architects working in the Netherlands. The deadline for submissions is April 25, 2016.
