The campaign has kicked off today with new TV spot, 'Motivation' to launch the new adidas Golf TOUR360 BOOST footwear. The spot depicts a high-energy montage featuring three of the best golfers in the world, Jason Day, Dustin Johnson, and Sergio Garcia. Each of the golfers is working hard both on and off the course to elevate their games to the next level.
Narrated by Jason Day, the spot illustrates these three as not just golfers, but as athletes, tirelessly pursuing their craft. Day explains the mindset of the adidas athlete, which is not simply to become one of the top golfers in game, but rather to become the best in the world. The spots close with the line, "Legends Aren't Born. They're Crafted.'"
"'Motivation' is about showing that regardless of your success, there is always another level to aspire to. This is the mindset of the adidas athlete, and the spirit we celebrate in this campaign," explained Will McGinness, Partner and ECD, Venables Bell & Partners.
'Geared For More' will extend to print, retail, online and social activations that bring the campaign to life. These executions highlight adidas Golf's new footwear, the TOUR360 BOOST, and apparel technologies.
