Rack & Pinion Creative has created a set of digital posters for Psiphon to help spread Internet censorship awareness for World Day Against Cyber Censorship. The posters, released through Psiphon's digital and social media channels, play on the brands space thematics.
The observatory and astronaut seen in the posters act as a metaphor for the Internet and its ability to provide us with unrestricted access to information. This imagery is juxtaposed with pixelated icons of the Internet including the caution sign and hand cursor which represent the unlawful censors of the Internet. While the caution sign distorts the observatory's view of the sky, the hand cursor silences the astronaut.
