WONGDOODY Rebrands Seattle Non-Profit Childhaven

WONGDOODY recently worked with local Seattle non-profit Childhaven to achieve a complete rebrand. Childhaven is one of only a few organizations worldwide that offers scientifically proven treatments to address the trauma of child abuse.

WONGDOODY's task in rebranding Childhaven was two-fold: to differentiate them from other child- and family-focused organizations that don't provide the same caliber of services, and to establish their leadership and successes in this particular mental health field.

WONGDOODY's rebrand for Childhaven offers a completely refreshed identity spanning digital assets, print assets, and beyond - including vehicle wraps, lapel pins, and apparel. Connecting each asset are the vibrant new color scheme and Childhaven logo, which features a "C" stylized to look almost like a complete circle, with motto "the cycle stops here" filling in the gap.

"We met with Childhaven to understand their goals for the rebrand and it's such a worthy organization in the local community, we agreed right away to deliver the project pro bono," said Knox Duncan, WONGDOODY's Managing Director. "Childhaven's ethos is all about transformation - bettering the lives of children and adults, upending societal expectations about abuse and recovery, raising the bar for trauma services - so we designed the new look to capture that ideal through the striking logo and positive color palette."

"With a new strategic vision for our agency, we knew it was the perfect time to sharpen our look and bolster our messaging," added Maria Chavez Wilcox, Childhaven President. "WONGDOODY's top notch reputation as a leader in their field aligns with the energy and potential of the children we serve, and the transformation we are undertaking as an organization. Our intention is to expand our efforts and make an even greater impact in the fight to stop child abuse and neglect locally, regionally, and nationally; this rebrand will help us put our best face forward."
