On Monday, April 3rd, attendees at the New York Chapter of the International Interior Design Association's (IIDA NY) 19th annual "Pioneering Design" lecture series will get to engage in one of today's hot topics: virtual reality.
How does one have meaningful engagement with people through both virtual reality and augmented reality? Caitlin Burns, Producer and Vice Chair of the Producers' Guild of America, will explore how virtual realities are shaping the ways industries interact with people.
With over a decade working with companies such as Sony, Disney, Microsoft, and UNICEF to produce interactive experiences, Caitlin will lead a thought-provoking discussion around how new technological frontiers will impact design. Guests will enjoy a cocktail reception prior to the discussion, as well as the opportunity to try out a 360VR Cinematic Experience demonstration, allowing them to envision the virtual practice first hand.
