Above+Beyond has designed the packaging for Meantime's range of flagship beers which are launching in 330ml cans for the first time.
The distinctive matt black cans contain Meantime's three best-selling beers - London Lager, London Pale Ale and Yakima Red. A bold typeface and illustrations of the clock from which the Greenwich-based company got its name feature in the stand out design which is markedly different to other cans in the market.
"With Meantime we get the opportunity to create outside the traditional remits of an ad agency," commented David Billing, ECD at Above+Beyond. "Since October, we've developed beermats, brand guidelines, outdoor advertising and pub posters, social films and even an idea or two for new beers. The packaging brief for the cans has been a particular highlight. Both London Lager and London Pale Ale are iconic beers that required an iconic look in their new format."
