SP01 unveiled its new collection, 'SP01 Outdoor by Tom Fereday,' during Milan Design Week. Conceived to withstand the harshest of elements, the collection offers is the perfect deck / backyard furniture for spring and summer.
Developed in collaboration with rising design star Tom Fereday and manufactured in Italy, this series of chairs, tables, and stools was inspired by Australia's unique blend of eastern and western aesthetics.
Chee
Chee is a series of ornate but contemporary bent wire chairs designed for comfort. The cross wire patterning of this outdoor seating collection serves both a decorative and ergonomic function. The overlapping metal wires curve and radiate out from the frame in a striking geometric web. This bent wire supports the back to form seating that is beautifully graphic and supremely comfortable.
The Chee collection includes a stackable chair, chair with arms and stools in two heights. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, the range is perfect for both residential and commercial interiors.
Eileen
Eileen is an outdoor table family with an industrial-edge. The design is strongly defined by its frame - a central stretcher rail made from two folded stainless steel sections which connect to tapered blade legs and terminate with a perfect disc shaped foot.
Eileen is available with tabletops available in two extremely durable material options. The High Pressure Laminate top gives the design a streamlined, minimalist aesthetic. Alternatively, choose the Accoya timber for added warmth and to take advantage of the incredible high performance of the environmentally friendly wood, tested to last for 50 years of external use and is FSC Certified.
A circular Eileen table design is also available with White Carrara or Black Marquina honed marble or a choice of HPL tops in a variety of colours.
Jeanette
With its low-line silhouette and basket shape, Jeanette is chair designed for the outdoors, with the sophistication of an indoor piece.
Aesthetically pleasing and functional, the elegant straight lines on the chairs back and Jeanette's gently curved gridded seat support the back to ensure comfort. The crossed stainless steel sections beneath provide additional strength, and are a design detail that mirrors the Eileen table.
Parisi
The Parisi table is an outdoor design that gains strength and a gently stylised silhouette from its distinctive hair-pin legs and tapering waist. Each of the table's four legs is fluidly connected to each other via an intersecting sub-frame made from powder-coated stainless steel. The clever overlapping design gives the table strength and timeless style.
Pair the Parisi table with the Chee chair series for a contemporary take on a classic patio setting. While designed for outdoor use, Parisi's refined profile makes it also suitable for a life indoors.
